Flashback to 2004, Liv is rocking that early 2000s short hair cut.
DNA might get someone out that is in prison for a false confession he made to Liv. His motion is denied.
Liv has to face a wrongful conviction that she’s responsible for.
Their first thought is that someone is a copy cat killer to help the wrongfully convicted guy get out.
Liv is hyper defensive of her putting away this guy and isn’t seeing horses, but zebras.
She’s pressuring this guy wrongfully.
Amario pulls her out.
Welp we are investigating wrongful conviction with this episode. Corporate man DA boyfriend is being weird about it.
Amario is the good guy in this episode. Liv is being an asshole.
The captain is being a good guy here.
Bumm bumm bumm – it’s a red scarf- they used the wrong thing to lock him up. They found out that it was listed incorrectly on the evidence sheet. So she put an innocent man away by feeding him the evidence.
She has a breakdown in the evidence room realizing what’s happened. So that’s good.
The officer was colorblind due to MS infection.
Corporate DA man is being a dick again. He’s not long for Liv’s life after this.
Liv is good and talking out her shit about fucking this up. And now corporate man lawyer is fucking it up again. Goodbye! He’s so uninteresting.
Liv goes to the guy defending the wrongfully convicted guy. They talk about their personal relationship and she buys a week of time.
They arrest the right guy and get the wrong guy out of jail.
They are opening up a conviction integrity unit. In response and now Mr DA can’t be Livs boyfriend. Yay goodbye!
Again work gets in the way of Liv having a life outside the office.
Overall good episode to bring light to how even good cops can collar the wrong guy for the crime.
