Now to the victim side of the story and how a creepy director is pushing himself onto a hopeful actress. I’m curious what contemporary news events were in this time period.

Liv sets another boundary with corporate man and he is chill with it, hinting they should go to Paris sometime.

Now vigilante attacks victim.

Fun added wrinkle for the writers in this basic episode: random necrophiliac finds a victims body after she’s been raped and murdered by a different person.

I expect we get some good interrogation scenes.

Standard man being in power saying he isn’t raping anyone cause these people who are around him.

Victim they found in the middle of the act was defending it because she really wanted the part.

Oh I remember this. They are appealing to the children of psychos who are entranced by their parents shit. Totally relatable.

Okay so some stuff happens but now we have Liv talking the rapist guy down with the cops

Estranged sister and mother show up. Sister has a story to tell to holding his girlfriend and her daughter hostage.

He ends up shooting at something and they all respond.

Liv is back to talk to the hostage holding guy.

Okay so the idea of this episode is an abusive parent might be isolating one of the children and turning the other sibling against him.

This was a powerful message for abused kids.

The narcissistic parent turned on their golden child to protect themselves. It’s a good message.

The broken kid starts realizing that he’s been awful because of the lies he believed and feels trapped. Classic.

The final message is even if your parents are awful people and you did awful things to protect them- you are not a bad person.

Solid message for people between the place of do I defend the bad stuff that happened to me and repeat that to the next generation to justify the wrongs done to themselves as younger people.

Corporate guy says some nice stuff to Liv. Not sure why he’s even at the scene. That wasn’t made clear.
